Tornado 1.0 is not. WindRiver moved the runtime symbol table from
the target to the host and broke the target based symbol table API
at the same time.
Tornado 1.0.1 fixes this by adding an option to put the symbol
table on both sides with a daemon to provide synchronization.
You must therefore upgrade to 1.0.1 and start the target server
with an addition switch: -s.
tgtsvr -s ...

There is one other small irritation with tornado:
You can use relative pathnames with ld, for example
cd "<some full path>"
ld < whatever
but you cannot use relative pathnames with commands like
dbLoadDatabase("dbd/exampleApp.dbd")
dbLoadRecords("exampleApp/Db/dbExample.db","user=prefix")
