I received the same mail and couldn't really help, too --- showed him the
way to the APS web server, though.

How come someone is installing EPICS and knows peoples' email adresses but
not the documentation URL? I suggest putting the APS URL in base/config/*
and Makefiles plus a file named Where_to_find_EPICS_doc_on_the_web ...
