I must admit, I am not exactly sure what happens in case of an
exception/interrupt if there is an intLock active.

Are interrupts (on VME processor cards) completely lost if currently
blocked by an intLock? Or are they queued or cached somehow so that the
handler will only be called a little later?

How often does VxWorks itself call intLock?

Is there a way resp. does it make sense to test this?

Yes. I will ask my colleague (Goetz Pfeiffer, who uses Symb support
heavily) to incorporate the changes and let his application run with it.
