Hi everyone,
I forwarding this message in the hopes that someone who has fairly
recent experience bringing up EPICs might be able to share some
estimate of the cost of bringing up EPICS for the first time.
I would like to suggest the use of the Epics-phrase-finder on the tech-talk
archives, since some of these questions about CPU boards have been
discussed recently, but when I bring up the EPICS documentation
it says
"The EPICS phrase finder is disabled whie we debug the new WWW server. "
Does anyone have any idea when this will be working again.
If the people who were discussing CPU-boards would be willing to forward
their correspondence to Lynn that would be helpful also.
It also might be useful to start at
our epics home page at http://www.atdiv.lanl.gov/aot8/epics/epicshm.htm
and from there get to the general EPICs home page under the topic EPICS
Documentation at Argonne. From there the Documentation topic leads to
lists of IOC Support. It also might be useful to look at the tech-talk
archives themselves, but it would be a lot easier with the phrase finder.
Thanks for your help.
Rozelle
