How about the following:
Benjamin can make the new support available to me with some simple
instructions telling how to replace the old gpib support with the new
version.
I will put it into epics base.
I will make this version available for Benjamin and Bill.
They will test to see that everything still works before the next
release of base.
Does the the WWW GPIB documentation have to be updated? Who will update
this documentation?
By the way I think this is a very good addition to the GPIB support. We
must, however, be careful because we have many GPIB users.
