> Has anyone successfully built extensions from sources under sunos?
Yes--R3.12.2--with great care!
The tricky parts:
Hacked at Interviews to get it to build; revised "mdct" to get
rid of Imake stuff, now "free_gdct" builds with a few source code
changes. Keep IV stuff needed (built) on my anon-ftp.
For ca_wish, et_wish, have special collections of tcl/tk/blt/dp
(available on my anon-ftp).
Not everything builds: I omit in particular medm, burt, SDDS,
appSR, tcl-it.
I do build ar/arr/..., stripTool/StripTool, alh, caget/caput/..., cau,
dm/edd, km, probe, xmca.
If you need medm, get static binary from APS anon-ftp.
I can send you the config/CONFIG_SITE* if you want.
You *MUST* use Sun "acc" unbundled; or find a friendly Linux type
and get changes to RULES and code to make gcc work!
