Do the extensions need to be recompiled against 3.13 in order to work
properly?

More specificly, does edd/dm 2.2 need to be compiled against 3.1 base
(3.13 headers, etc) to work properly.  For some reason I can't seem to
get the default color rules to work.  Everything else seems to be just
fine. (so far)  But I was _sure_ I had this working a while ago.  Maybe
it's the full moon.....
