We are firming up the agenda for the meeting in Paris Sept 9-11. If you
are attending and have some work to present, please check the agenda
on the web and let me know about things that should be added.
The first morning will be used for training. We will offer some
parellel training. One session intended for those not too familiar
with EPICS and will cover an overview, database talk, and the
state notation language. The second session is intended for those
that have used EPICS but are ready to talk in more detail about
the program interfaces for creating new clients, servers, record
types and device support.
The first afternoon is intended as a workshop to discuss the development
of a new archive capability for EPICS. Jefferson LAb and Los Alamos are
working on this development currently. We will present the current
design, status, and goals for this effort. This session is intended to
get feedback from the community on all aspects of this effort.
The second day is intended for application experience, status, approaches,
and problems.
The third day is targeting the EPICS software. This will talk about 3.13
features, goals for 3.14, suggestions for the major components, and
any new record, device or driver support.
