After first consulting the "Phrase Finder" and then Nick I am
still stuck trying to get AR to archive any data.

Following questions:

- In our current (test) setup the channel values don't change. I read
that setting ADEL to a negative value should overcome the non-archiving
of constant channels, but it still doesn't. AR doesn't complain about
the .req file, connections are established, it just doesn't write a file.
Any ideas why?

- Which way is archiving going? 
The latest version of AR we have came with 3.13.0.alpha3. 
There is archiving effort at DESY.
There is the frequency archiver.

As we don't have any EPICS archiving experience here, we could
go either way.
