I think that *ALL* site specific record and/or hardware support really
should be merged into the base EPICS. 

However, if people feel that they have nothing better to do all day than to
field requests for custom EPICS from people instead of doing what they as
supposed to be doing, then who am I to complain. (Except to ask, 'how can
*I* get one of those jobs?) <Grin>

Tim probably already has a good feel for just how much time is spent
fielding individual requests for his custom code - which is more work,
merging the distributions or answering the same idiot questions (robably
from me, over and over and over agaian)?
