hello all,

As requested a patch for 3.12.2 has been prepared that fixes the 
following two problems:

Bug number (1)
--------------
Symptom: Error messages about invalid sync group id when 
running CA client side test "acctst.c". This problem has
been observed with gcc 2.7.2 and with a recent version
of the VMS C compiler when optimization is enabled. This 
problem has not been observed in code compiled by the gnu 
C compiler supplied with vxWorks 5.2 or with sun pro {4.1,
4.0.1}. 
Fix: Removed use of "const" in the CA client API typedef
"CA_SYNC_GID" in cadef.h.

Bug number (2)
--------------
Symptom: CA client lib incorrectly prints disconnect message
when a connection to a particular IOC is deleted because
the last channel using that connection was deleted (by
the client side tool).
Fix: Dont print a disconnect message in this particular situation.

The above changes have been committed to the 3.12.2 CVS branch 
at APs.
