Is there any mileage in defining some conventions on use of the PARM field
(would have to be bus-specific I suspect) to accomplish such things? Such
information could be thought of as a sort of DTYP sub-addressing, so what
now requires a different DTYP could in the future require the same DTYP
but a different PARM.
