A serious bug has been discovered in beta2.
The symptom is that the event task for
channel access links goes into an infinite loop.
If this happens it happens at iocInit time, i.e.
it should not happen after an ioc has successfully
initialized. Running spy after iocInit will show
if you experience this problem. The problem will
happen if any device or driver support delays
during the second phase of record initialization.
The beta2 bug report on the WWW has been updated.
It also tells you how to get a fix for this problem.
