I'm currently working on porting tclCa (used to build
et_wish in epics/extensions) to Tcl7.5, Tk4.1. Due to changes 
in BLT, I really need to remove the long standing link
dependency that tclCa (et_wish) has with BLT.

As such, the commands "pv vdef", "pv vset", and 
"pv vdis" will go away. These provide a direct
C-level connection between channel access waveform
data and blt graphs. Should a desire for this capability
arise in the future, I could redesign this interface using
the "vector" package. 

As of the moment, I don't believe anyone is using these
commands. Let me know if this may create a problem for you.
