Hi,
does anybody know how to set the parity on the CD 2400 serial (RS232) controller
which is part of the MVME167/177 Motorala CPU boards.
I tried to write the channel number into the channel access register
and then modified the channel option register 1. No success. 
Though we have a full MVME167 documentation set the description of the
CD2401 is pretty poor.
