Hi,
I had a problem with Stringin records. When I set a monitor on the record, a
change of severity and status of that record were not posted to the ca
monitor. The reason for
that behaviour can be found in the record support of Stringin records. In the
function
monitor() there the function db_post_events() is only called, if there is a
difference
between the Value field (VAL) and the Old Value field (OVAL). The setting of
the alarm flag in the monitor_mask by recGblResetAlarms() doesn 't force a
call of db_post_events()
with set alarm flag!
For the Stringout record the situation is the same.
