Folks,

I have released a new version of EPICS for VMS.  The major improvements are
the inclusion of pre-built libraries and executables for both the VAX and AXP 
architectures, and the addition of the extensions medm, km, and probe.

The new release includes the following:

For EPICS "base": 

    - The source code required to build the channel access libraries (LIBCOM,
      LIBCA) 
    - Pre-built libraries for the AXP and VAX architectures 
    - Pre-built executables (CAREPEATER and test programs) for the AXP and VAX
      architectures 

For EPICS "extensions": 

The source code and pre-built AXP and VAX libraries and executables for the 
following extensions 
    - ca 
    - ezca 
    - ezcaidl 
    - km 
    - medm 
    - probe 
    - pvwave 

The release has been built and tested with VMS 6.2, DEC C 5.2-003, and
Multinet 3.5 Rev B.
