Hi Andrew,
1.  Could you give us a few more details about what used to work?
If it is just a matter of putting all of the relevant channels
in the same symbol so they wind up with related names, perhaps
it is because the parameter passing scheme has changed between
edif2sr and e2sr.  I expect you are talking about something
more complicated. 
2.  I don't know of anyone who has made a conversion tool.  It 
would be really nice to have such a tool.
