It may be worthwhile to note that the accesses across the backplane
are only 4 times faster - while the soft ai record with no backplane
accesses were 50 times faster.
If your database is laden with algorithmic records - then you get the 50x speed
If you are doing mostly supervisory control - then you get the 20x speed 
If is also worth noting - that the database processing is only a part of 
the CPU utilization. The sequencer will get the higher performance improvement.
The higher performance could also be used for any other number crunching
analysis.
It may be useful to run Marty's stress test database and see what happens
with the channel access CPU utilization.

In either case, this is a nice performance improvement and a very useful 
piece of data.
