FYI --
Running the 167 code on a 162 that has hardware floating point should
be OK for the time being. I say this because the compiler and header
files used to build the code in these configs are identical. (I am not
sure if this will continue to be true beyond vxWorks V5.2.)
The soft-float issue is a concern and I support the idea of creating
architectures named mv162 and mv162sf (or silimar.) I spake with Janet
Anderson about this a few months ago and I thought we created the config
files for it.
Janet, is this true? Or was that conversation only talk?
