I have an EPICS database in which all the quantities I am dealing with are
integers. As the output of the "calculation" record is floating point, I
need to convert the result of one of my calculations to the nearest
integer. At the moment I am doing the conversion by channeling the output
through a "longout" record, but it would be tidier if I could convert a
floating point value to the nearest integer within the "calculation"
record itself. Does anyone know a way of doing this? Will a future version
of the "calculation" record support the "INT" and "NINT" functions?
Steven
