CapFast network floating license for EPICS users
-------------------------------------------------

Good News!

A floating license for CapFast will be available in the next 30 days for
release.   The floating license will allow the users to access a fixed
number of licenses on the network simultaneously.  This floating
license will give both the flexibility and cost-effectiveness  which have been
requested by many CapFast users.  


For instance,  ten (10) user floating license will allow a simultaneous
access to CapFast tools on the network, upto any ten (10) users at a time.
Initial license manager will support single networks, with either SPARC
(with Solaris OS) or HP 9000/700 WS.

Additional licensing options such as support for mixed platforms will be
available later.

Prices for node-locked licenses  will remain same, unchanged.  Prices
for the newly announced floating licensese are:

            Notes:  1.  Price includes first year technical support and updates.                    2.  Annual softare maintenance for the second year and on
                        will be 15% of the list price.
