Hi Gary,
We use Windows NT for our operator interface which can talk to the control
system using Simple Channel Access (SCA). I havent tried to build any EPICS
clients, like DM, but I did buy Hummingbird Software's Exceed/NT XDK which
has the libraries (like xlib) needed to build X based clients for
NT (Hummingbird also sells an 'MDK' which includes Motif libraries).
