Just a point of clairification.
DCT does use a different default but it ALWAYS writes .NPP or .PP in short
form report. Thus there is no problem using a DCT generated short form report.
The problem arises if some other tool generates a short form report
and does not specify PP or NPP.
I am happy to hear that LANL does have a solution to the problem.
