To clarify things for people using the motorRecord extension from APS....
The epics base OMS driver(drvOms.c) for the steppermotorRecord,
referred to by Guy, is not used by the motorRecord extension from APS.
The function names were kept the same so that when the motorRecord
drivers where loaded the stepperMotor drivers would be overwritten.
This was necessary because each of these drivers expect to have sole
ownership of all OMS cards in the crate.
