Hi,

sorry my description wasn't clear, the best thing is for me to put a 
little drawing here:

Record 'A' activates every 10 seconds.  'B' and 'C' are passive.  If 'C' 
is still active when 'A' processes then 'B' doesn't process.  Once 'C' 
has completed then things can processes as normal the next time 'A' 
activates.

Record A is only there to 'absorb' cached puts as it seems that 'FLNK's 
aren't cached(in B)

When I refered to a dillema I was only referring to what to do about 
monitoring the PACT field.
