>Is there any one in the collaboration with a utility that can read waveform

The archive-process on the workstation we have can currently read data from archive records
and from any record field. The support for waveforms us just under way. Since we write the
data of any archived point into individual files record_name-month-year and waveforms will
be written in files of the form: record_name-date-time the structure of the file is free to
choose. I intend to use a format like:
#IDL 2, 1.00000, 512, WAVEFORM IRM CHN.1
COLD (4.0 p, 1000mV, Acc-2Hz, >100KHz)
#wf_irm1
0.000000 -8836.00
1000.00 22.0000
2000.00 -223.000
... which we use to display archived waveforms with our IDL display tool.
Another format could be implemented and selected during startup of your archive process.
