Last Tuesday, Alan Biocca ([email protected] (aka my Boss) ) said, with regard
to DOL not working as a channel access link:

Well, it turns out he was working from incorrect information that I had
given him.  The bug is there, and has, in fact, been there in the code
(3.11.mumble) we were using.

In an attempt to get a database working I somehow built in a workaround,
not realizing a) that I had done so and b) that the DOL bug existed.  I
couldn't get it (the database) to work in what seemd to be the rational
manner so I assummed that I was doing something wrong and poked at the
database until I had a configuration that worked.

Heaps of thanks to Marty for maintaining his sense of humor while he helped
me sort this out, and my appologies to the rest of the collaberation for
my part in delaying the long-awaited epics 3.12.

This has been "an educational experience."  Thank God it's Friday!

Ummm - could we have an on-line database of known bugs vs releases somewhere?
It might help some of us avoid these kinds of problems in the future.
