Deb Kerstiens has already done this for edd/dm version 2. #1 is implemented
with a new button type (which deletes a sub-screen and on the original
screen, exits dm). #2 works because any sub-screen already invoked is
brought to the front--perhaps not exactly what you wanted. But another
feature is when invoking a sub-screen (related display) an option can
specify that the current screen disappear; thus the sub-screens are
effectively on the same "level." Taken together it is quite useful.
