Epics Release 3.12.0Beta13 and earlier releases.
Setting the DOL field of an AO record to a channel access link fails.
The failure is the return of a completely nonsense value in the AO's VAL field.
There is no other indicia of failure. We believe that the failure may occur
with DOL fields in other records such as BO.
The failure mechanism is understood and a fix is underway.
We have tickled a bug that has apparently been around for while.
