Hi Jeff,
We at Gammasphere are having some kind of problem with
the epics vxi resource manager again. We have been using a little
program called hcModify to set the number of vxi logical addresses to
64 for some time. Now we need to raise it (our full number is 88),
but even 72 does not work. I am attaching a copy of hcModify.c and
a listing of what iocInit and epvxiIOReport say. In this case there
are only 7 of our boards in the crate, for 56 la's. If I modify
hcModify to have EPICS_VXI_LA_COUNT of 64, things work. This is not
the answer though; we want to run 11 boards now.
