Hello everyone.  Happy new year!  And all that other holiday type jazz.

FYI:

The version of vxWorks 5.1.1 that I mentioned and sent to a few of you
over the last few months has not been running too well here at the APS
when installed at the site.  At this time, we have decided not to use
it and have reverted to 5.1.

I wanted to let you all know this before you go thru the nasty time
we have out here in diagnosing the causes of mystery IOC hangs.  Yes
sir... our 5.1.1 IOCs have been hanging after 2-5 hours of run time.  We
have no clues yet.  I am planing on making (yet another) pass thru the
configuration stuff to see if anything is strange... the exact version we
have been using here has gone under a significant set of changes since
the last time I know any of you grabbed a copy of it.

I will post more information on this subject when I get a clear view of
what is wrong etc.
