FYI --

As Bob says.. stuff IS in module_types.c.  But here at APS I have been
doing ALL new work such that there is nothing in module_types.c because
an application guy can not add to it.  (Much of my newer stuff is not
initially developed in the EPICS tree or distributed with it.  But
later migrates into it.)  It has config functions that have to be
called at init time (from the startup.cmd file) to set addresses, irq
vectors and so on.

You may come across a few of these types of drivers as you get newer
releases of EPICS.
