Subject: MV167s and the 712M module

I'm not familiar with the Heurikon enclosure, but with our Schroff
enclosures there is enough room to bring the cables up through the
bottom between the guide rails of slot 1 and slot 2. This has been
working well for us and the cables don't seem to get in the way.

But a better solution is to use the Tracewell crates that Bob recommended
to us in the past. These crates have rear panel positions for the 712M.
This also frees up that valuable front panel space for items other than
the 712M. We are very happy with our Tracewell crates thus far.

Best regards to all,

carl
