CVS and unbundling

Hi Mike,

We are starting to work on unbundling some of the EPICS components. For our
first effort Janet will unbundle ALH, Jim GDCT, and Claude the device library
on top of Channel access. We want to use CVS (our first experience with it).

My questions are:

1) We have the document "Version Management with CVS, Per Cederqvist,
15Mar1993. Should we have a later version and/or other doc?

2) What and where is the latest version of CVS?

3) Have you thought about problems connected with unbundling? Do you have any
   guidelines, etc?

4) Any thing else you should tell us?
