Although I believe the code base should be in C++, i would like to help for the python interface. ( SIP wrap, sample code, docs, etc) -- Emmanuel

and evaluate the results without being able to contribute though, because that
won't get too much development done!
Lets start off by collecting and comparing some ideas for direction. I've
started an All-Our-Ideas question for this, which provides a way to prioritize
our needs and allows anyone to add new suggestions for others to vote on.
