This is the old EPICS archiver, which is not recommended for adoption at new sites. Unless you're already using AR, look at the new Los Alamos Channel Archiver instead.

Software Download

Required Software

Ar requires that the Tk/Tcl, Motif and X11 header files and libraries be available and that the TK, TCL, X11, and MOTIF settings in CONFIG_SITE.<host_arch> be set correctly.

Since ar uses header files and/or libraries from the following extensions, it is necessary that they be downloaded and built first.
