Introduction to synApps

This lecture describes a collection of EPICS software intended for use at a synchrotron-radiation beamline, to control x-ray optics and acquire data.  All of the software in synApps will be described in brief; selected pieces will be described in greater detail; other parts will be detailed in future lectures. This lecture is aimed primarily at users, though some material of interest to developers will also be presented.
