Channel Access in Depth
This session will present Channel Access in some depth. There will be a brief introduction to TCP and UDP, followed by coverage of Channel Access concepts such as the connection process, search requests, exist tests, beacons, beacon anomalies, and CaRepeater. The session will also cover tools, such as CaSnooper and CASW, that help monitor and debug Channel Access applications and their associated network traffic. The material in the session is appropriate for those who administer Channel Access or for developers who need an in-depth understanding of Channel Access. The material included should provide you with much of the knowledge to analyze and debug Channel Access problems on your own network.
