IDL and Python

IDL is a scripting language with support for graphics, numerical analysis, GUI building and many other features. This class will cover accessing EPICS from IDL, including IDL class libraries for EPICS and standalone EPICS applications. Python is an open-source s cripting language with many similar features to IDL. The class will present the EPICS interface from Python.
