Ernest,

You can test int64inRecord with the softIocPVA executable.

> EOF
> softIocPVA -d test64.db

then

> pvget test:i64
> test:i64 <undefined>              9223372036854775807

If you do try, please also pull down the latest which includes a
candidate fix.
