Marty and I are working on the new ImageJ plugin that uses pvAccess. I have some questions about the PvaClientMonitor class.
- I have found that calling PvaClientMonitor->stop() does not actually stop the monitor events from the server to the client. It does stop PvaClientMonitor->waitEvent()
from returning any events. Looking at the network traffic I can see that images are still being sent from the server machine to the client machine after calling stop(). However, if I destroy the PvaClientMonitor object then the network traffic stops. Is
this the intended behavior, and if so is it documented anywhere?
- What does the PvaClientMonitor->unlisten() method do? Again, is this documented anywhere?
Thanks,
Mark
