Folks, I am running the pvaServer in an areaDetector IOC. This is on 32-bit Ubuntu Linux 12.04. The pvaServer is working fine, it is sending the NTNDArrayImages to a client on another machine. However, the startPVAServer command is taking 15 seconds to complete.
