Hej,
after 2 days trying to make my little problem re-producable at other sites,
here is the result:
#Clone the repository from here:
git clone https://github.com/EuropeanSpallationSource/MCAG_setupMotionDemo.git
cd MCAG_setupMotionDemo
git checkout 151013_setup_demo
./setup.sh
This will get you a working demo... but wait:
When I showed the problem this morning to my collegue and hovered over the
IOC:m1.RBV field, we found that there are 2 fields in CSS:
IOC:m1.RBV and IOC:m1.RBV.SIMM
The .SIMM does not exist somewhere in the DB and so it is showed as "disconnected".
The "disconnected" hides (on the screen) the fact that IOC:m1.RBV is connected.
I don't really know how this came into my life, probably I used CSS wrong,
but I think we can relax a little bit.
There seems still to be an issue if the motor wakes up at exactly position 0.0,
which seems to make the motor record to stay unprocessed in some way.
I will have closer look tomorrow.
Thanks so much for helping me out.
