Do you have any timescales for that project? ITER have a requirement for
a 3.15.1 release by the end of this year, but despite my asking nobody
else has *ever* given me specific dates from other projects.

Our time scale for 3.15.1 would be around Spring 2015.
We could possibly use it according to ITER's schedule as well.
Parts of LCLS 2 controls will be worked on by partner labs and some early
prototyping and R&D will begin getting underway in October 2014.

Some key areas:
(1) The new event/timing system we must design for LCLS 2
(2) Beam Synchronous Acquisition (Jeff Hill calls it Flavored-Data at LANSCE)
(3) Loading/Unloading records dynamically ?
(4) Support for hot-swapping
