Bazaar only converts keywords from their internal $Raw$ form into the $External: cooked $ form at the end of the extraction process iff you have the keywords plug-in installed, and the inverse conversion happens when importing a commit.  All merging is done using the raw form, so there should be no issues like we had with CVS.  If you don't have the keywords plug-in installed and configured it won't do any expansion anyway, so I don't think this will be a problem.

We could take out the $Revision-Id$ keywords, but they are occasionally useful.

There is a bug in the latest official release of the keywords plug-in: It recognizes anything that matches the cooked regular expression as a keyword and converts it into the associated raw form on commit, even if it's not a known keyword.  For Perl scripts that's a major issue, so I developed and pushed a fix for it before enabling the plug-in.
