Hi Ben,
I just committed all my and your changes that implement the "global" design
and pushed them to the lp:~epics-core/epics-base/msi-join/ branch on
Launchpad. I'll be on vacation until next Wednesday now.
I don't like the keyword "scope", can you find some other word instead? It
has too much of a "computer-science theory" connotation. Even "block" would
be better, but that's not very descriptive either.
With the redesign I don't think this is going to be appropriate or ready for
R3.14.12, so I'm not going be able to spend any more time on it for a while.
