Bold words, considering that Erlang is used in embedded systems with
guarantees(!) for a maximum downtime of 3 Minutes per year. Granted,
they had dynamic (re-)loading of whole software modules designed in
from the start, using a dedicated programming language to support this
(and many other features EPICS still dreams of) etc. etc.
