I'm not sure what kind of changes were applied to the C++ parts of base
between 3.14.7 and 3.14.8.
To support HP-UX it usually takes Jeff and me between two days and three
weeks to get things running om HP - strictly depending on the number and
severity of C++ code changes and our personal workload.
Personally I would be more than happy to drop the HP-UX support, if that
was your question. Guess it probably wasn't.
