Hi:
Andrew did clarify some of my questions about data access,
but even he now suspects that data access'
"... very clever template mechanism only works with fully symmetrical
property sets; in many cases I think we're going to have to write all
three traverse() routines ourselves..."
I still feel uneasy about data access.
Is it just because I'm ignorant?
Anyway, following the well established tradition of
presenting yet another class library,
I put something on
http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/wiki/index.php/V4_Data_Interface
which I think combines what I understood from Doug's and Marty's ideas.
I know it's easier to understand than data access
because I understand it.
Would it work as a user interface to the data?
Yes, but performance would be unacceptable?
Thanks,
-Kay
